Course Description

The Care Certificate is an identified set of standards that health and care professionals adhere to in their daily working life. Designed with the non-regulated workforce in mind, the Care Certificate gives everyone the confidence that health and care professionals have the same introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high-quality care and support in their own particular workplace setting.

The Care Certificate is based on 15 standards, which individuals need to complete in full before they can be awarded your certificate. 

Course Duration

This course is delivered via our online learning platform.

Pre-Requisites

When undertaking this course it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to complete the course.

• Person cantered care
• Principles of communication
• Dignity and privacy
• Nutrition and Hydration
• Learning disability & Dementia awareness
• Safeguarding adults
• Safeguarding children
• Health and safety in a care setting
• Handling information in a care setting
• Infection control

We also offer this course to either include the Emergency First Aid at Work Online refresher or with attendance at one of our Emergency First Aid at Work courses.

Technical Requirements

This course is delivered either by e-learning if you choose the Emergency First Aid at Work Online refresher option.
If you choose the option to include attending one of our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) will be delivered face to face with all the modules completed via e-learning.
For both courses we would therefore recommend that you access this course on a desktop or laptop to access your course.

Certificate and Validity

Upon completion of the course candidates will receive a certificate which is available as a PDF (Portable Document Format).
