It is a legal requirement that food business are able to communicate information about allergenic ingredients to customers. This course teaches best practice in storage, usage, documentation and communication of allergens in order to keep customers, staff and business safe. It is crucial that anyone working in a Early Years catering environment is sufficiently allergy trained and this course is suitable for all, including cooks, nursery assistants, supervisors and child minders.
Learners will be required to undertake a 30 question multiple question examination. Please do not worry if you are unsuccessful at this on your first sitting, you will be able to take this examination again at no extra cost.
Once you have completed and passed this course you can download and/or print your certificate. A copy of your pass certificate will always be available in your learner admin area.
