Description
This qualification is for those requiring a first aid qualification to support their role as a sports coach or instructor. The qualification builds on the Emergency first aid at work qualification, to include core common injuries found in sorting activities.
Upon commencing this qualification learners should be a minimum of 16 years in order to undertake this qualification. Learners will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real environment. This includes providing CPR to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.
For this course learners are required to undertake an invigilated MCQ paper, and observed practical tasks which must be passed in order to complete the course.
Learners must have sufficient command of the English language to understand and undertake the recommended assessment methods for this qualification and it is strongly recommended that learners should be working at level 2 English literacy.
Upon completion of the course including the submission and approval by QNUK of the relevant course paperwork, candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for a period of three years.
